Opening ceremony guest of honour, Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, presented one of six prestigious World Travel Market Global Award to Parks Canada on Monday 10 November.

World Travel Market's Global Media Network, representing key travel industry media around the world, nominated six companies who have made a remarkable contribution to that region's travel and tourism industry.

Parks Canada protect and present nationally significant examples of Canada's natural and cultural heritage.  It fosters public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment in ways that ensure their ecological and commemorative integrity for present and future generation.
