Hannover in Germany is a fantastic place to visit at any time of the year. During "normal" times, you will be spoilt for choice of where to stay. Excellent luxury 5 star Hannover hotels are aplenty for high spenders; there is also good bed and breakfast accommodation at reasonable prices.

During high season, expect to pay higher hotel and accommodation rates - no different from other popular destinations.

If you are into computers, you should visit one of the best computer shows around - CEBIT. The shows are held around a few choice places (USA, Asia, etc.).

HOT Tip

When you book your CEBIT tickets, you may also book accommodation. However, if you shop around, you will find that you can save 20% or more on your hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation.

In Hannover, the event normally takes place around March. You must book early - otherwise, you will find it virtually impossible to get accommodation near the CEBIT Fair. That may then mean travelling for an hour or so to get to the Fair (you need to spend every minute you can at the Fair to get the most out of it - it is that big).
