Fuerteventura Shopping Tips, Shops and Supermarkets, Fuerteventura Tourist Information, travel guide ...

If you are staying in the South (Jandia), there are many shops along the promenade mainly catering for tourists: electronics, fabrics, clothing, leather goods, luxury items, cigarettes and tobacco, perfumes, toys, souvenirs, alcohol, duty free (be sure of your limits), hairdressers, pharmacy/chemist, restaurants, bars, cafes, food and provisions. There are a few Netto and Spar Supermarkets that carry everyday essentials.

If you want a wider choice in daily provisions, go to Hiperdino Hypermarket in Costa Calma a few miles away (more choice, better value if you are buying lots) - do all your shopping in one go if your resort is far away.

However, don't spend a lot of time comparing prices. You may save a few Euros but you'll waste a lot of precious time - time that is better spent on the beach or enjoying the various attractions or just relaxing from your sea view apartment.
